Driver Attempts To Ram Concord Cops (Again) During Chase
A woman allegedly fled from Concord police officers on Tuesday afternoon and tried to ram into patrol cars twice during a pursuit.

CONCORD- A woman allegedly fled from Concord police officers on Tuesday afternoon and tried to ram into patrol cars twice during a pursuit that resembled one she was involved in late last year, police said.
The chase kicked off around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday as police were investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred at Willow Pass and East Olivera roads in Concord, Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
The vehicle that allegedly fled after crashing into a parked car was spotted and officers tried to pull it over, but the motorist sped away.

Not long into the pursuit, the suspect vehicle entered a center median and attempted to ram a Concord police patrol car, Blakely said.
After traversing Concord surface streets, the motorist fled on state Highway 4 and entered the highway traveling in the wrong direction at one point during the pursuit, Blakely said.

After the chase was temporarily called off because of safety concerns, it picked up again when the vehicle was spotted on East Leland Road in Pittsburg.
The vehicle then once more tried to ram a pursuing patrol car, Blakely said.
The pursuit eventually came to an end after the motorist ditched her vehicle and unsuccessfully attempted to evade officers on foot.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Sarah Bogert, was arrested on suspicion of evading police, hit-and-run and assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, Blakely said.
Blakely confirmed that Bogert was arrested in connection with another pursuit on Oct. 13 in Concord involving a stolen vehicle that also began on Willow Pass Road.

Bogert was allegedly the passenger in a vehicle that similarly tried to evade pursuing officers by fleeing in the wrong direction on Highway 4.
Bogert and the driver, 32-year-old Sean Rosevear, were arrested after the vehicle later crashed into a BART track support pillar.
