Man With Stolen Vehicle Warrant Eludes Concord Police
A man with a bench warrant for a stolen vehicle pursuit case from last year fled from police Monday after he was spotted in Concord.

CONCORD - A man with a bench warrant for a stolen vehicle pursuit case from last year fled from police Monday after he was spotted in Concord, according to police.
The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Sean Rosevear, was seen in the area of Willow Pass Road and North Sixth Street, near Wren Avenue Elementary School, around 9 a.m. today, Cpl. Christopher Blakely said.
The school was temporarily ordered to shelter in place while a perimeter was established and the surrounding area was searched, Blakely said.

The suspect was not located during an extensive search that was aided by K-9 units and a California Highway Patrol helicopter, Blakely said.
Rosevear has a warrant for his arrest in connection with another pursuit on Oct. 13 in Concord involving a stolen vehicle that also began near Willow Pass Road.

He was arrested along with his passenger, 27-year-old Sarah Bogert, after he allegedly crashed the vehicle into a BART track support pillar during the October pursuit.
Concord police also arrested Bogert again just last week on suspicion of evading police, hit-and-run and assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer for a separate incident, Blakely said.

Around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Bogert allegedly sped away when officers tried to stop her on suspicion of crashing into parked cars at Willow Pass and East Olivera roads and then fleeing the scene.
She allegedly led officers on a wild chase that involved driving the wrong way on state Highway 4 and near misses with pursuing patrol cars.
The pursuit eventually ended in Pittsburg and she was arrested.
As for Rosevear, Blakely said investigators are following up on leads to locate him.
