• Concord Weighs Million-Dollar Security Deal At Base (patch.com) — Concord residents are being asked to weigh in as the City Council considers a three-year, million-dollar security contract for the former Concord Naval Weapons Station, a key step in long-delayed redevelopment. The deal follows a $628 million financial framework with the U.S. Navy that could finally clear the way for thousands of new homes, infrastructure, and jobs on the massive base property.
