• Synchronized Traffic Signals Coming To All Of Western Riverside County As Part Of Pilot Program (patch.com subscription) — Drivers in Corona could see smoother commutes in coming years as a new state-approved pilot will synchronize traffic signals across all Western Riverside County cities. The Western Riverside Council of Governments and Caltrans will coordinate timing on major corridors to cut delays and emissions, then report back to lawmakers by 2028 on how much travel time and congestion are reduced.
   

• Video Shows Credit Card Thieves Arrested Immediately After Buying $1,400 in Shoes (mandatory.com) — Corona residents may want to know that local police quickly arrested three people accused of using a stolen credit card to buy about $1,400 in shoes and a TV, after tracking them with a drone. The suspects, linked to two other fraudulent transactions in Corona and driving a rental obtained via identity theft, now face new felony charges.
