• Coronado's 2026 cross country season underway at the Vaquero Stampede (thecoronadonews.com) — Coronado High School's cross country team has kicked off its 2026 season with strong showings at the Vaquero Stampede, where several Islanders placed high in large fields. Local runners posted promising early times, and students interested in joining Coronado's program are invited to contact the coach as the team heads to its next meet on September 5.
