• Police arrest Bay Area Uber driver suspected of following women, peering into windows (mercurynews.com) — Cotati police arrested a man on suspicion of prowling and peeping after residents on Lakewood Avenue reported someone looking into their windows, and investigators are probing similar reports in Rohnert Park and Petaluma. Officers say the suspect claimed to be an Uber driver returning a lost item, and the company has since suspended his account while police continue their investigation.

• Eight Ball Tavern Wins Approval For Food Truck (patch.com) — Cotati officials have formally approved food trucks and carts at the Eight Ball Tavern’s downtown parking lot, creating a new local dining hub under recently adopted mobile food rules. The nearly 90-year-old Cotati bar can now regularly host trucks like Dino’s Greek Food Truck, operating under city standards for safety, sanitation, parking, and hours.
