3. Marie Aragon Named CEO at Southern California Hospital at Culver City (culvercityobserver.com) — Southern California Hospital at Culver City has promoted longtime nurse-leader Marie Aragon to CEO, putting an all-women executive team in charge of the 420-bed community hospital. She's overseeing construction of a new emergency department ahead of the 2028 Olympics, when Culver City will host New Zealand's delegation, and is emphasizing staff input, patient safety, and community partnerships in her first-year priorities.
