Culver City Enters Into $2.71M MOU With LAWA
The memorandum resolves Culver City's legal challenge to the environmental impact report for LAWA's plan for new construction at LAX.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles and Culver City city councils and Los Angeles World Airports have agreed to enter into a memorandum of understanding intended to increase coordination on development at Los Angeles International Airport, officials announced.
The memorandum provides Culver City with $2.71 million for traffic improvement measures to address congestion related to projects at the airport and commits Los Angeles to include Culver City as a stakeholder in any Intelligent Transportation System advisory group.

"Culver City supports the modernization of LAX, and we hope this MOU will ensure that traffic and other environmental concerns related to the LAX project, now and in the future, are addressed to protect Culver City residents, businesses, and surrounding communities," Culver City Mayor Jeffrey Cooper said.
