Culver City Locals Invited To Virtual Costume Contest

Culver City kids and adults are invited to join a first-ever virtual costume contest hosted by parks, recreation and community services.

CULVER CITY, CA — Costumes are definitely not canceled this Halloween—Culver City will host its first-ever virtual costume contest for kids, adults and even quarantine teams on Instagram.

The contest is open now and ends at midnight on Nov. 1.

"As part of our Frightfully Fun Halloween Activities to do from Home, the PRCS Department will be holding its first-ever PRCS Costume Contest," organizers said. "Get your costumes prepped and camera ready!"

  • Photos must be posted on Instagram between Oct. 25 and midnight on Nov. 1
  • Participants must wear a mask in their best 2020 Hallo-chic
  • Please tag @culvercityprcs and @culvercitygovUse the hashtags #culverhalloween and #costumecontest2020
  • There will be three winners total, one in each of the categories listed below:
    • Kids (18 and under)
    • Adults
    • Quarantine-mates

The three winners will receive a swag bag, bragging rights and their photo will be featured on the Culver City website.

"Please remember that your costume should be family-friendly," organizers said.
