Culver City Police Search For Armed Robbery Suspects
Two Culver City businesses were robbed at gunpoint on Friday and Saturday.

CULVER CITY, CA — Two Culver City businesses were robbed at gun point last week, authorities said. Police continued to search for the suspects of each this week, officials said.
The first incident was reported around 9:25 a.m. on Friday after a man walked into a Subway at 3817 Sepulveda Blvd. and ordered a sandwich. Then, the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register, forcing the worker to put $200-$300 in cash in the man's sandwich bag, the Culver City Police Department said in a news release.
Police were not able to find the man, who reportedly fled north on Sepulveda Boulevard. The suspect was described as a man with medium build, wearing a black jacket, black pants and a black ski mask.

A second robbery was reported at 6 a.m. at a Rite Aid at 3802 Culver Center. The suspect approached a female worker behind the register, pulled out a black handgun on the counter and demanded cash from the register, police said. He also had multiple store items in his hands.
"Fearing for her life, the victim complied," police said. The suspect, described as a man with a heavy build, black jacket, blue jeans and a black hat, fled. He was seen running northbound toward Venice Boulevard.

Officers swept the area, but were unable to find him.
Surveillance footage of both incidents were recovered.
