HBO Relocating To Culver City’s Ivy Station Development
The television network signed a 15-year deal and will lease an office building in Culver City starting in 2021.

CULVER CITY, CA – HBO is relocating from its current West L.A. campus and will lease a 240,000 sq. ft. office building in Culver City beginning in 2021. The new home in Venice Boulevard will be part of the $350 million Ivy Station mixed-use development, which will include 50,000 sq. ft. of restaurants, 200 apartments, retail stores and a 148-room hotel, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The television network signed a 15-year lease at the under-construction complex, developers Lowe, AECOM-Canyon Partners and Rockwood Capital announced Wednesday.
HBO joins Apple and Amazon in moving to Culver City, which is reemerging as a major entertainment industry center, according to Curbed Los Angeles.

“HBO is an ideal business anchor for Ivy Station, bringing to the property creative professionals that will enjoy access to public transit, host out-of-town guests at the hotel, and frequent the shops and restaurants that will populate the ground floor, town square-style retail space,” Tom Wulf, executive vice president of Lowe, one of the developers, said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times.
Amazon is moving into and expanding the historic Culver Studios campus just a few blocks away, Curbed Los Angeles reported.
