CULVER CITY, CA – The Culver City Police Department decided to discontinue searching the El Sobrante Landfill in Corona for the remains of six-month-old Jacsun Manson, police announced Monday.

CCPD spent weeks researching, consulting with experts from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and discussing with Waste Management and the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the press release said.

"We make this decision with a heavy heart after an exhaustive investigation was unable to narrow down the possible location of Jacsun’s remains within the landfill to a point that would make continuing the search reasonable," Culver City police said.
