Stabbing Suspect Sought After Road-Rage Fight: Police

Culver City authorities said the victim was stabbed at least five times, and the suspect drove off in a silver Camaro.

CULVER CITY, CA — A possible road-rage incident between two motorists Wednesday afternoon led to one driver stabbing the other at a gas station on Venice Boulevard in Culver City, according to officials.

Officers were called at 1:37 p.m. to the 11200 block of Venice where the victim had suffered at least five stab wounds to his upper torso and abdomen from an unknown weapon, and the suspect had fled the scene, the Culver City Police Department said.

Police said the victim and the suspect engaged in a road-rage conflict, and when the victim drove to a nearby gas station, the other driver followed. As the victim got out of his car, the suspect approached him and a physical fight ensued, ending with the stabbing, the department said.

The suspect drove off in a newer model, two-door, silver Chevy Camaro. He was described as Hispanic with a thin build, approximately 25 years old, 5 feet, 10 inches tall with short brown hair and wearing a black shirt and black pants.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for his injuries and is expected to survive, police said.
