Three Elected Officials Endorse Nancy Barba for Culver City Council

Nancy Barba added three key endorsements from elected officials in her race for Culver City Council. California State Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas (District 28), Los Angeles Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez (District 1), and LA Councilmember Nithya Raman (District 4) are all backing Barba’s candidacy.

“Nancy Barba is a community organizer and a champion for renters rights, housing for all, and environmental justice,” said Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez. “We need her vision and experience on Culver City Council, and I’m proud to endorse her run to make our region a safer, more inclusive, and more just place for all.”

Nancy Barba’s extensive past public service includes serving as a Culver City Planning Commission Chair, Culver City Finance Advisory Committee Member, a Culver City Pride Ride and Rally Steering Committee Member, a Rancho Higuera Neighborhood Association Board Member, President of the MOMS Club of Culver City East, Co-President of the Samuel Goldwyn Foundation Children’s Center Parent Advisory League, and a Walk and Roller Committee Co-Chair at El Marino Language School.

Barba earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Operations and Maintenance Accredited Professional, a Certified Green Building Professional, and a Certified GreenPoint Advisor.

The Culver City Council election will be held with the U.S. General Election on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Culver City residents are encouraged to vote.
