SENIOR HOLIDAY LUNCHEON, December 11, 2019

Cupertino Rotary welcomed senior guests at its December 11, 2019 Annual Senior Luncheon, to kick off and celebrate the holiday season with style - piano played by fellow Rotarian & Cupertino City Council Member Rod (Sinks), sing-along songs led by the Grateful Dad band, a visit by an elf, and of course the Santa Claus! Our special seniors were served with tasty dishes, holiday desserts, seasonal eggnog, and bringing back home a gift bag of goodies, as well as a pretty poinsettia for holiday decoration!

“The Senior Holiday Luncheon is a community partnership and opportunity to welcome seniors into our Rotary Fellowship featuring great food and entertainment, like no other event they will attend all year,” said Henry Buffalow, Cupertino Rotary’s Community Services Chair. “I just love seeing the smiles on the faces of our guests! They speak volumes!” he added.

Every year at this time, Cupertino Rotary Community Services hosts a special luncheon for seniors to kick off the Holidays.

30-35 Cupertino Rotarians will volunteer and pay for the sponsored seniors lunch.

This year the luncheon will take place at our December 11, 2019 Meeting.

The Luncheon Program includes a performance by the Monte Vista High School Choir.

Approximately 30-35 seniors from the community that have been identified by partner agencies: Live oak, Rebuilding Together, West Valley Community Services, Forum and Sunnyview, will be our VIP Guests. These seniors will enjoy a beautiful luncheon and be blown away by the vocal performances of the choir, as well as treated like royalty by their Rotary Host or Hostess.
