American History Essay Contests Open To Local Students
Students in grades 5 through 12 are invited to participate in the Daughters of the American Revolution American History Essay Contests.

CUPERTINTO, CA -- Daughters of the American Revolution promote American history throughout the year by honoring significant historical people, places, dates and events. The volunteer service organization does this, in part, by sponsoring the American History Essay Contest (grades 5-8) and the Christopher Columbus Essay Contest (grades 9 - 12).
All students in public, private or parochial schools, and those who are home schooled, are eligible to participate. Essays are due to the Santa Clara Chapter by Oct. 31, 2017. Informational forms containing rules about the essay contest can be picked up from local libraries including Cupertino, or can obtained by sending an email to travelmaven@gmail.com.
