• BART's 10-Car Trains Make a Comeback for First Time since Pandemic Amid Wider Service Reforms (edhat.com) — Daly City BART riders will soon see big changes as the station is reconfigured into a center-platform layout on August 10, aimed at easing a major system choke point. Along with the return of 10-car trains, BART is tightening headways, adding capacity on key lines, and redesigning transfers to cut wait times across the Bay Area while staying cost-neutral despite a large budget deficit. 
• SFPD Arrests Two Richmond Men Suspected of Armed Robbery of Elderly Couple In SF (sfist.com) — Daly City’s Real Time Investigation Center helped San Francisco police quickly track down a stolen SUV tied to an armed robbery of an elderly couple in Visitacion Valley. Using RTIC technology and coordinated patrol work, officers located the suspects at a downtown hotel, recovered a firearm and stolen property, and arrested two Richmond men, though investigators are still seeking additional tips.
