• Surging Water Costs amid the US Affordability Crisis (foodandwaterwatch.org) — Residents should know Daly City's water system saw a 308% rate increase over the past decade, one of the steepest hikes in a national analysis of 500 utilities. The report warns that aging infrastructure, climate pressures, and corporate ownership are driving water bills faster than inflation and income, and urges stronger public investment and protections for affordability.
