CHP requested multiple tow trucks and an ambulance, while a small brush fire near Koopman Road in Sunol added to heavy traffic along northbound I-680.
• Traffic Advisory: Hot Summer Sundays Car Show Street Closures (ca.gov) — Downtown Danville streets will close this Sunday, August 30, for the Hot Summer Sundays Car Show, with Hartz Avenue and several connecting streets shut from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drivers are urged to expect delays, use I-680 exits at El Cerro or Sycamore Valley, and watch for heavy pedestrian traffic, while parking remains available in surrounding streets and municipal lots.
