Students from Athenian School, Monte Vista High, and San Ramon Valley High are now in the running for prestigious scholarships that can support their college plans and may attract additional offers from universities and employers.
• 'A true cultural exchange': Irish cast bringing the drama to 2026 Eugene O'Neill Festival (pleasantonweekly.com) — Danville residents can catch the Eugene O'Neill Festival's unique cultural exchange when the Irish play "Teddy" opens Sunday, followed by "Ah Wilderness!" at Tao House and a Sept. 26 performance at the Village Theatre downtown. The festival highlights O'Neill's legacy, brings the original Irish cast to the Tri-Valley, and sends a Danville production to Ireland next month.
