Coronavirus: Changes Coming To Civic Life In Danville
Residents are encouraged to call the town instead of stop by for in-person appointments.

DANVILLE, CA — The Town of Danville is implementing new restrictions as officials look to mitigate the potential spread of the new coronavirus in town facilities.
The front counter at the Danville Police Department and town offices will only allow one person at the counter at a time, and the exterior front door will be locked, the town said. Residents are asked to handle business by phone or online, and appointments should be made for in-person visits.
All classes and public meetings are canceled, upcoming events are postponed and rental reservations are not allowed, the town said. Forty guests will be allowed at the Tuesday Town Council meeting, which can be watched online here.
