Dad & Daughter Launch Club Pilates In Danville

DANVILLE, CA – Father-daughter duo, Robert and Jessica Shiraki, have opened a new workout studio in Danville, Club Pilates at 3418 Camino Tassajara, the pair's second club in the East Bay.

The facility opened its doors in late May, and a grand opening celebration is planned for the July 14 - 15 weekend.

To celebrate, the company will host free, introductory classes to locals interested in the low-impact sessions. Classes will be at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. on both days.

Opening-weekend deals also will include refreshments, vendor giveaways, free one-month membership raffles along with discounts, 25 percent off retail items, plus the chance to win a free bike with membership sign-ups.

The Shirakis, who also operate Club Pilates in Pleasanton, said their studios offer members full-body workouts to improves posture, balance, flexibility and strength.

“We wanted to bring Club Pilates to the Danville area because our family has always been into fitness and health, and we wanted to offer something beneficial to the Danville community,” Jessica said.

“After building my career in human resources and having two children, I was looking for an opportunity with more flexibility and I found that and so much more with Club Pilates. The transformation clients are able to see and the health benefits are what really make opening a Club Pilates remarkable.”

Danville members can choose from four class levels and eight signature, group-class formats that utilize a variety of equipment, including Reformers, EXO chairs, TRX, Trigger Point, springboard and Barre.

In Pleasanton, the Club Pilates is in the Gateway Shopping Center at 6766 Bernal Ave. The Shirakis also plan to open two additional locations in the Bay Area and two in southern California.

A franchise operation, Club Pilates has more than 350 locations in 37 states.
