DANVILLE, CA — A Danville man was arrested on suspicion of driving his car into another person in an unincorporated area of San Ramon, the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said. The victim was cleared after being seen by paramedics.

On Wednesday, Feb. 7 at around 11 a.m., 61-year-old Brad Anderson of Danville met with another person on the 2400 block of Norris Canyon Road to discuss an exchange of property, the sheriff’s office said. An argument broke out, and then Anderson allegedly hit the other person with his car.

Anderson then fled the scene, and later surrendered without incident, according to the sheriff's office. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility and charged with assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held in lieu of $30,000 bail.
