Strong-Arm Robbery Suspects Arrested In Danville
The town's Automated License Plate Reader System helped locate a suspect vehicle.
DANVILLE, CA — Danville police arrested multiple suspects accused of committing a stong-arm robbery in a retail store in a neighboring city, DPD said on social media.
On Saturday at 4:17 p.m., as rain was pouring down, patrol officers located a vehicle involved in a strong-arm robbery in a neighboring city, though Danville police told Patch they would not release any further information about the robbery. The town’s Automated License Plate Reader System scanned the plate, and alerted the department.
A Danville officer saw the suspect vehicle back into a parking spot in front of Five Guys on Camino Tassajara near Crow Canyon Road, and detained multiple suspects associated with the vehicle, DPD said. One suspect was handed over to a neighboring police department and booked into Martinez Detention Facility, while another was arrested for an out-of-state warrant and booked into jail.
