Dodgers Win Tassajara Valley Little League Majors Title

In a tight game between two quality teams that came down to the last pitch, the Dodgers held onto a 5 - 3 lead against the Athletics to win the 2011 Major's Championship. This makes back-to-back Major's championships for Dodger coaches Mike McFarlane, Mike Maloon, and Keith Van Hole, and constitutes a three-peat in conjunction with their 2009 undefeated championship Dodgers AAA team. 

Brett Tressen of the Dodgers and Beau Garratt of the Athletics pitched outstandingly deep into the game, ending only when the third baseman snagged a line drive for the final out with runners on 2nd and 3rd. A’s shortstop Jack Fryer and Dodgers third baseman Chris Worley each hit home runs.

The Dodgers went 22-3 this year, which capped off a three year run of 59-8-2.
