Home Near Danville Burglarized, Suspects At-Large: Sheriff
Two suspects broke into a home in unincorporated Contra Costa County near Danville over the weekend, authorities said.
DANVILLE, CA — Burglars broke into a home in an unincorporated area just outside Danville over the weekend, according to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office.
On Saturday, Feb. 24 at about 7:13 p.m., Valley Station deputies were dispatched to the 800 block of Griffon Court in Danville regarding a possible burglary, according to CCSO spokesperson Jimmy Lee. Deputies confirmed that a burglary had occurred and searched the area with a drone and K-9, but no suspects were located. The investigation is ongoing.
The burglary is one of a few reported in Danville in recent months. The Home Consignment Center has been broken into three times since December, most recently on Feb. 5 when five masked suspects entered the store with hammers, broke display cases, and fled with jewelry. In December, 25-year-old Danville man Trevor Hudson was charged with 11 felony counts of first-degree residential burglary in connection to break-ins in Danville and Moraga.
