Hot Summer Nights Car Show Info and Street Closures

Downtown Danville will be busy Thursday night with the Hot Summer Nights Car Show.

Downtown streets will be lined with muscle cars, hot rods, and other vintage cars. There will also be live '50s and '60s music in the streets and vendors selling food, drinks and souvenirs.

The event is from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and downtown streets will be closed from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Streets affected include (see map):

• Hartz Avenue from Hartz Way to Railroad Avenue.
• Prospect Avenue east and west of Hartz Avenue.
• Diablo Road from Front Street to Hartz Avenue.
• Linda Mesa from Diablo Road to Hartz Avenue.
• Church and School Streets will have limited closures near Hartz Avenue.

If you need to get around the road closures, you can use Railroad Avenue as a detour downtown.
