• Rash of break-ins hits downtown Danville; police probe possible connection to crime ring (danvillesanramon.com) — A series of more than a dozen early-morning break-ins hit businesses and cars in and around downtown Danville this week, mainly near Crossroads Shopping Center and the 100 block of Hartz Avenue. Police are reviewing surveillance footage, coordinating with nearby cities about a possible crime ring, and asking anyone with information to call 925-820-2144.
