• Community Briefs: SRVHS homecoming parade Court appoints presiding judge 'Space Between the Notes' tour (danvillesanramon.com) — Expect rolling street closures in downtown Danville this afternoon for San Ramon Valley High School's homecoming parade, looping from campus through Prospect Avenue between 2:50 and 3:30 p.m. Also this weekend, the town is hosting a free Senior Tech Fair at the Danville Community Center, while nearby San Ramon will welcome an Indian classical fusion concert on Oct. 1.
   

• Man Allegedly Shows Lewd Photos of Himself to Children (crimevoice.com) — Danville police arrested a 38-year-old Castro Valley man after a teen reported seeing someone she believed was behind earlier lewd incidents targeting children in town. Investigators say they've linked him to a series of similar reports dating back to January 2025, and they're asking anyone with additional information to contact Danville detectives as the case continues.
