SEE: Hiker Rescued In Mount Diablo State Park

SAN RAMON VALLEY, CA — A hiker was airlifted out of Mount Diablo State Park after suffering an injury on the Madrone Canyon Trail near Blackhawk.

A California Highway Patrol helicopter responded to take the hiker to a soccer field, where an ambulance took him to a hospital, the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District said Tuesday.

The hiker's left leg was wrapped up, pictures of the incident show.
