Danville Road Reopens After 'Unstable Tree' Prompts Closure
Drivers were asked to avoid the area for several hours Monday.

DANVILLE, CA — A busy Danville road has reopened after it was temporarily closed Monday morning due to an unstable tree, police officials said. At about 9:30 a.m., drivers were asked to avoid Sycamore Valley Road at Park Hill Road for several hours. All traffic was detoured around the area until a tree contractor was able to manage the tree.
Police said in an advisory shortly before 11:30 a.m. that the crews "have taken care of" the unstable tree and that traffic is resuming in both directions on Sycamore Valley Road. No other information is available.
