Vandals Egg Cars on Diablo Road, Causing Damage
A resident said the incident left several cars damaged.
DANVILLE, CA — A Danville woman says several cars were damaged after a group of unidentified teenagers egged drivers on Diablo Road Wednesday night. According to resident Melanie Arnerich, the boys were standing in the 1600 block of Calle Arroyo throwing eggs when the damage occurred.
“Three cars were hit and sustained damage,” Arnerich said. “The paint is chipped on the passenger rear side of one of the cars. The egg that hit the front of the car chipped the windshield and the egg that hit the rear tail light left deep scratches.”
Arnerich said one suspect drove off in a golf cart while the others fled on foot. Arnerich would like to identify the suspects to resolve the costs of the damage to the cars.

In Livermore, a family awoke to hundreds of dollars worth of graffiti damage after they discovered their property had been vandalized last month. The victim, who lives in the 2000 block of Calibria Drive, said her car, driveway and front door were defaced with the words "racist" and "Trump" spray painted on the surfaces overnight.
After reading about the vandalism on Livermore Patch, Livermore Mayor John Marchand stopped by the victim’s house on his way home from city hall and cleaned up the graffiti.
