'Armed and Dangerous' East Bay Man Named Suspect In Sacramento Gas Station Murder

BREAKING: A warrant is out for the arrest of Jonathan Jahquan Pierce, 19.

BAY AREA, CA – Sacramento County sheriff's officials on Monday named an Oakland man as a suspect in a fatal shooting at a gas station parking lot earlier this month.

Jonathan Jahquan Pierce, 19, is a suspect in the Dec. 12 fatal shooting of 23-year-old Patrick Lee Domingo, according to the sheriff's department.

Domingo was found shot in the head at the Beacon gas station in the 2100 block of El Camino Avenue in Sacramento at about 3:50 p.m.

He was still breathing and had a faint pulse when deputies arrived, but died shortly after he was taken to a hospital, according to the sheriff's department.

Witnesses heard a single gunshot and saw a dark SUV or truck flee the area, sheriff's officials said.

Investigators determined that the shooting happened after a marijuana deal went bad.

Pierce has been identified as a suspect and investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest. He has family in the Sacramento area and the East Bay and is considered armed and dangerous, according to the sheriff's
department.
