$50K Anonymous Donation Prompts Davis Schools Foundation Dollar-A-Day Campaign
A dollar-a-day fundraising campaign is underway and will run through July 4. Help fund teaching aides at elementary schools, vice principals at junior highs, and counselors at the high school.
Davis Schools Foundation is thrilled to announce a generous $50,000 gift from an anonymous donor. This gift has prompted our foundation to launch a short fundraising campaign starting now and ending July 4.
With California's unrelenting budget cuts, our schools continue to face a critical funding need. The Davis Schools Foundation is a private non-profit, all volunteer, organization set up to help the Davis public schools.

Please consider donating to this campaign in order to make an impact for the next school year.
The funds raised will be used for much-needed instructional aides at the elementary schools, to offset larger class sizes next year, increased campus safety (vice principals) at the junior high schools, and counselors at the high schools. The goal for this campaign is to raise at least $500,000 by July 4th. We could far exceed that goal with donations of a "Dollar-A-Day," or $365, for every child in our district.
