Day Five in the 10 Days of Happiness: Create a List of Things You're Thankful For & Things that Make You Happy
How happy are you on a scale 1 to 10? It is based on the moment, not how you felt yesterday or how you think you will feel in about an hour or next week, just the very moment.

Since it was Super Bowl Sunday, I decided to take the Global Conference Call to the street. It brought back fun memories of the early days of the as I go into the street every day asking individuals my now famous question: "On a scale of 1 to 10, how happy are you?"
The responses were very exciting; “I am a 9 today, a 6, oh, I am an 8 and even a 10" were the responses from total strangers who stopped to answer that question.

This was part of day five in the 10 Days of happiness. The focus was gratitude and the things that make us happy. Some of the responses included “my family and friends makes me happy” from Christie, Jesse and their son Dash to “I have air in my lungs” by Chris, hanging out in front of Starbucks. That was the first time I heard that response.
Finally Bridget, who was very happy because her internship opportunity made her hopeful about the future. I am very happy for all of them.

How happy are you on a scale 1 to 10? It is based on the moment, not how you felt yesterday or how you think you will feel in about an hour or next week, just this very moment. What are the things that you are thankful for or make you happy?
Researchers have documented that expressing gratitude definitely contributes to our level of happiness. I will encourage you to try it and let me know your experience. Share your comments.
