Davis Police Arrest Suspected Hit-And Run Driver
The victim motorcyclist was left at the scene in December with major injuries, police said.

Davis Police arrested Brian Douglas Cassidy today at 10 a.m. at his home in Davis.
Cassidy is suspected of being the driver in a December hit and run in which he left the scene after a collision with a motorcycle. The rider of the motorcycle was left at the scene with major injuries.
As a result of the investigation, Davis Police obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Thanks to a tip from the public that Cassidy had arrived at his residence, Davis Police responded and arrested him at his front door.
Cassidy was lodged at Yolo County Jail.
