Davis Residents: Are You Signed Up For Yolo County Alerts?
Get notifications if disaster strikes!

DAVIS, CA – As part of Flood Preparedness Week, Davis residents are urged to prepare for a natural or human-caused disaster - events that often occur with little to no warning, the Davis Police Department said.
Yolo County residents can register for the mass-notification system at www.Yolo-Alert.org.
Registering will allow public safety officials to text, call cell phones or landlines, or email in the event of a disaster.

Officials will only notify residents during an emergency or if help is needed to find a missing child or adult.
"Wildfires and flooding can occur rapidly, sometimes forcing evacuations, shelter-in-place orders and/or road closures. The mass notification system is a critical link for residents to immediately learn of actions they might need to take for their safety," Yolo county officials said.
