'I Love Them Both Dearly!': Davis Mother's Day Photos

DAVIS, CA — Whether it's through their personality, their looks or a combination of both, daughters become a reflection of the woman who raised them. With Mother's Day 2018 right around the corner, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "mother-daughter lookalike" photos.

This one submitted by Davis Patch reader Abel Barrientes shows his wife, Kathy Barrientes and their daughter, Brooke, last week in San Antonio, Texas. The Davis residents were taking part in the city's annual Fiesta activities.

"They are both strong and loving women and mothers and I love them both dearly!" writes Abel. "They both epitomize caring and loving mothers; qualities that every great mom share!"
