DAVIS, CA — A Davis woman was choked by her 28-year-old son at her own home, where he also tried to stab her and threatened to kill her, according to Davis Police. She was transported to Sutter Davis for treatment and later released.The son, Michael Anthony Carpenter was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail on charges of attempted homicide.It happened Monday night at a home in the 1500 block of Lemon Lane. Officers used a taser on the suspect when he "refused to comply with the officer's orders and started running toward the victim," according to police.The victim is 50-years-old.--Photo by Renee Schiavone, Patch
