Olive Drive Repaving Project Starts Soon In Davis

DAVIS, CA – Announcement from the City of Davis on planned traffic project:

As part of the City's Transportation Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project, the City's contractor, Ghilotti Construction, will be repaving Olive Drive.

The work will be occurring on Olive Drive from Olive Court to the I-80 Exit, from November 14 - 27.

The I-80 Exit at Olive Drive will be closed during this time. Westbound vehicles on I-80 should exit at Richards Boulevard, 2,000 feet past the Olive Drive exit. Eastbound traffic on Olive Drive past Olive Court may experience delays.

Westbound cyclists using the Old Highway 40 bike path will be detoured at the Road 105 railroad crossing, to Road 32A and Second Street. For eastbound cyclists, only local traffic will be allowed along Olive.

Eastbound cyclists wanting to use the Old Highway 40 bike path will be detoured at Richards Boulevard through downtown to Second and L Streets.
