Robbery Attempt Reported At Davis Bank

DAVIS, CA – A man attempted to rob a Davis bank Thursday evening, but fled without any money, according to police.
Davis Police Department officers were called at 5:20 p.m. to Chase National Bank, at 330 E St., where the officers were told that the suspect approached the teller, threatened her and demanded money.
No firearms or weapons were observed, and the male fled the scene without obtaining any money, police said, adding that no vehicle was seen.

The suspect was described as a light skinned man between 30 and 40 years old, with curly dark hair and a short goatee. He stands 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs between 180 and 200 pounds, and was wearing a long-sleeve, light-colored shirt, and a black baseball cap.
