Saturday Is Wildlife Day At California Agriculture Museum

Great event for the whole family!

WOODLAND, CA – Have you ever seen a Yellow-Billed Magpie up close? Did you know that not all crows are black—some are white?

This Saturday, Oct. 22, Doug Forbes of the Wildlife Care Association will bring a Yellow-Billed Magpie and White Crow to the Cal Ag Museum for a special presentation from noon to 1 p.m. Doug and the birds promise a presentation that will be both informative and entertaining.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., WCA volunteers will be present to answer questions about wildlife and the association’s work to rescue, rehabilitate, and release local wildlife. They will also bring a critter or two!

This is your opportunity to (safely) view a California Kingsnake and maybe a desert tortoise or collared dove.

You can also learn what to do—and what not to do—if you find a wild animal in distress. Your visit with WCA volunteers and the noon presentation are included with museum admission.
