Smoke Blows Into Davis From Suisun Fire
There was also a median fire off Mace Boulevard.

DAVIS, CA — Davis area residents were nervous Tuesday afternoon about smoke blowing into the area. There were two sources - a median fire off Mace Boulevard and a 500 acre fire near Suisun City.
The Suisun City fire has been contained and is no longer advancing.

Regarding the smoke and haze on campus, winds have brought this smoke to us, The UC Davis Fire Department confirms there is NO fire on or close to campus at this time. The smoke is likely coming from a fire near Suisun City.
