North Torrey Pines Road Closed This Weekend for Bridge Construction
Bridge construction work will require the full road closure of North Torrey Pines Road from Torrey Pines State Beach parking lot to Carmel Valley Road from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.
Plan accordingly this weekend. North Torrey Pines Road from Torrey Pines State Beach parking lot to Carmel Valley Road will be completely closed for bridge construction this weekend. The road closure will occur on Friday at 9 p.m. and continue through 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1.
Detours will divert southbound traffic to Carmel Valley Road and northbound traffic to Genesee Avenue via Interstate 5, according to the city of Del Mar.
Pedesterians and bicyclists will be re-routed around the construction via Carmel Valley Road and the Torrey Pines State Beach parking lot.

Pedestrians are not to use the North Torrey Pines Road Bridge or cross the railroad tracks in the area of the bridge at the time of the construction.
