Summer Concerts, Global Jazz and Rotary Club Meeting

JNF Herzl Tour Golf Tournament

• Jewish National Fund (JNF) will host the first San Diego regional qualifying tournament for The Herzl Tour: The International Golf Tour of JNF. Golfers of all skill level will compete in teams of two. The tournament will tee off at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12 at the Del Mar Country Club. 

• The concert will feature Nathan James Trio as the opening act. The main act will be Back to the Garden, Tribute to Crosby, Stills & Nash. The concert will kick off at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Powerhouse Park. 

• Friends of the Carmel Valley Library with host the Global Jazz series featuring the Adrienne Nims Duo. The concert will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14 at the Carmel Valley Library. 

• The meeting will include speaker and Rotary District Governor Carl Kruse. He will discuss topics on Rotary District 5340. The meeting will start at Noon on Thursday, Aug. 15 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church. 

• Jump start your weekend at the race tracks. The concert will feature the reggae band Steel Pulse. Concerts are free with track admission, concert only admission is available after the race. The concert will start after the last race scheduled for approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.
