Cal Poly Students Pepper Mayor with Questions

About 25 students had the opportunity to interview Mayor Chang at the end of Tuesday's City Council meeting.

Students with Cal Poly Pomona’s Reporting 2 class attended Tuesday’s Diamond Bar City Council meeting armed with a full list of questions for Mayor Ling Ling Chang.

“At this level, they go out and cover live events,” said Doug Spoon, instructor and faculty adviser for the Poly Post.

About 25 students had the opportunity to interview Mayor Chang at the end of the meeting. They were to stick to what was addressed at the meeting. The students asked about the city’s budget, the recent birthday celebration and the city’s use of social media.
