Palomares Academy Honored in Washington D.C.
The academy is one of a select few to be inducted into the National Academy Foundation.

Palomares Academy of Health Services was recently inducted into the National Academy Foundation at a ceremony in Washington D.C. last week.
They are one of only 15 NAF Academies of Health Sciences in the country.
"We look forward to continued excellence in innovative learning experiences, mentoring, and internships as students pursue their career goals," school officials said.

Part of the Academy's planning team participated in graduation at "NAF Next" in Washington, D.C., in which they were granted full membership after what officials described a rigorous year of planning.
"We also received our official banner, which will be displayed in a prominent place in our school," academy administrators wrote. "Our NAF Career Academy status will provide even greater access to innovative learning experiences, mentoring, and internships as (students) pursue their career goals. We offer our sincere appreciation to all who helped up accomplish this milestone!"

Palomares Academy serves students from the Pomona Unified School District between the seventh to tenth grade.
