All Walnut Valley USD schools will close for five weeks, effective Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 17, 2020.
"It has been determined that gatherings with the potential of 250 or more people should be postponed or cancelled across the state."
Again, at this time, there have been no directives from Public Health Office to close schools. All schools will remain on normal schedule.
The schools will remain open. Public Health will work with schools to assess, on a case by case basis, if school needs to close.
