Suzanne Middle School in Walnut Closed for 'Suspicious Package'

WALNUT, CA — Suzanne Middle School in Walnut was closed for the day due to two suspicious packages discovered along La Puente Rd., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office.

La Puente Road was shut down between Pierre Road and Gartel Drive for 4 hours while the Sheriff's Department officers investigated the items.

Walnut High School remained open.
