Thankful For Bald Eagles In San Gabriel Valley: Photo Of The Week
A Patch reader caught sight of these two eagles nesting in the San Gabriel mountains. What are you thankful for this holiday weekend?

DIAMOND BAR, CA — There is little that Diamond Bar resident Sam Patel loves more than getting out into nature at the San Gabriel Valley mountains. Hiking around with his Nikon camera in tow, Patel has captured some of the most beautiful sights that we have had the privilege to share with our readers.
A Diamond Bar resident for the past 15 years, Patel is an entrepreneur and part-time Lyft driver. He loves hiking in the nearby mountains.
"We have a forest practically right in our backyards. Living in Diamond Bar makes it so much more accessible," he told Patch. "Many people don't venture out there and see all that beauty that's out there even though it's so close."
